The 2004 Shadow Aero was an all-new 750 that replaced the ACE: a fresh steel-tube frame, a lower seat, deeply valanced retro fenders and, most importantly, shaft final drive in place of the old chain. The 745 cc V-twin switched to a single carburettor and a higher compression ratio, trading a little top-end for smooth low-rev pull and excellent fuel economy.
